Eurocopter Selects Sandel Avionics As Part of Mid-life Efficiency Package For EC135 Helicopters

VISTA, Cal., April 17, 2013– Sandel Avionics, Inc., a global leader in compact, integrated display systems technologies, today announced that Eurocopter will offer its SN4500 Primary Navigation Displays and SA4550 Primary Attitude Displays as optional equipment on EC135 helicopters. Sandel products are now offered in Eurocopter’s Blue Book, as part of the Mid-life Efficiency Package (MEP) for new production EC135 models.

Installations to begin this fall on Korea National Police helicopters

Sandel Avionics Inc., the global leader in terrain, obstacle and wire alerting technology for helicopters, has signed a long-term supply agreement with Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI). Sandel will supply its new Mil 810-G qualified HeliTAWS™ ST3453H for factory installation on new KAI helicopters manufactured in Korea, including Surions in production for the Korean National Police. Surions are derivatives of the Korean Utility Helicopter adapted to meet airborne law requirements.
