We have been informed of third parties selling unapproved replacement lamps for the SN3308. As a reminder, the approved SN3308 replacement lamp kit part number 90122-B is available from Sandel at a list price is $214. The maintenance interval for the SN3308 lamp is 225 hours or 12 months, whichever comes first.

Instead of trying to talk about technical or sales topics this month, I have chosen to reflect back on the loss of a very dear friend to many of us. Chuck Freeland and I were best friends for every bit of three decades and I believe our initial meeting was way back when he was a Regional Sales Manager for 3M Stormscope. He was one person on the job and quite another after work. Once befriended, Chuck would cut off his right arm for you and then ask how much of the left one you needed. We had the ability to be hardnosed at work when needed and then forget it all over a cold beer at the end of the day. It’s a quality that few possess and one that Chuck mastered.
