Sandel SN4500 4x4 EHSI and SA4500* 4x4 EADI
Sandel Avionics' newest products are a pair of modular, panel-mounted 4-ATI displays that can be
installed separately or in tandem. Both systems incorporate Sandel's patented wide-angle display
technology that combines unmatched sunlight readability with true 180-degree viewability in both
horizontal and vertical axes. Featuring the company's SandelSmart I/O™ for drop-in
compatibility with virtually any analog or digital aircraft, the SN4500 and SA4500* provide
an easy-to-install aftermarket update for a variety of turbine-class applications, offering
affordable moving map functionality. Other features of the advanced SN4500 EHSI include
multiple HSI navigation modes; an intuitive pilot interface; and a full range of navigation
and safety sensor interfaces, including VOR, GPS, Loran, ADF, DME and marker beacon Nav receivers,
along with weather radar, traffic and Stormscope®. The SA4500* EADI replaces outdated
electromechanical attitude director indicators with a bright, highly readable attitude display,
in either single-cue or split-cue annunciation options. Both the SN4500 EHSI and SA4500* EADI
incorporate a long-life backlight for high reliability and low cost of ownership.
*Update: As of May 17, 2006 the model number of the Sandel EADI has been changed to the SA4550
in order to avoid confusion with the SN4500 EHSI.
