Sandel Receives Part 23 STC for Advanced SN4500 EHSI

First STC enables dealers to order and install Sandel's new LED-backlight system

Vista, CA, (September 15, 2006) -- Sandel Avionics (NBAA Booth 4414) has announced it has received an FAA supplemental type certificate (STC) for its advanced new SN4500 EHSI, covering installations performed in aircraft flying under Part 23 operating guidelines. Under the guidelines found in the FAA's Flight Standards Information Bulletin (FSAW) 95-09E the modular, LED-backlighted SN4500 may be installed by dealers for use in all qualifying turbine- and piston-powered aircraft.
