Industry Veteran to Head Sales Team
Vista, CA (July 7, 2008)—Sandel Avionics has announced the hiring of Jerry Henry as Director of Sales. Henry will oversee Sandel's sales team and be responsible for worldwide sales of its Primary Navigation and Attitude Displays, self-contained Terrain Awareness and Warning System (TAWS), and solid-state Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS). Henry's hire culminates the company's long search for a successor to Bill Wood, who passed away from a bout with cancer in 2006.

With over 30 years in the industry, Henry comes to Sandel with a wide range of avionics experience which includes civilian, government and military applications. Having held numerous positions there, Henry most recently served as Senior Manager of Customer Support for Avidyne and prior to that was General Manager of Cinema Air Avionics in Carlsbad, CA. During his career Henry has been active in several aviation industry groups including the Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA), Airborne Law Enforcement Association (ALEA) and Helicopter Association International (HAI).
